Swedish Polar Dog Show, District Jämtland

Frekkis av Vargevass: 1. place with 1 pr. and CK in Young Dog Class Males, 2nd Best Male overall
Robert av Vargevass: 1. place in Open Class Males with 1 pr. and CK, 4th Best Male overall
Dante: 3. place with 1. pr and CK in Working Class Males, 5th Best Male overall
Nathan av Vargevass: 4th. place in Working Class Males, 1 pr.

Frekkis, Robert, Nathan and Leo av Vargevass won the Breed Group and became BIS breed group.

Nordvikens Skipper: 1. place in Working Class Males with 1 pr. and CK and BEST MALE as well as BOS.

SPECIALTY SHOW OF THE SWEDISH SIBERIAN HUSKY BREED CLUB
(subdivision of the Swedish Polar dog Club)

Entry: 168 Siberian Huskies

Main judge Sonny Ström judged the working class males and females as well as the open class males and females & breed groups. Judge Per Erik Wallin judged puppies, juniors, young dogs, veterans and champions.

Isa: 1. prize/CK and placed 2nd. in Working Class of 16 females. Place 3. in Best Female Competition of 86 bitches.

Dante: 1. prize/CK and placed 3rd. in Working Class of 24 males. In only 3 weeks time from the last show he had totally blown his coat.

Robert: 1.prize/CK and winner of Open class of 24 males. Best Male of 84 males; BEST OF BREED/BEST IN SHOW

Other noteworthy results:
NUCH Moritz av Vargevass placed 2. in Veteran Class Males, with 1.prize/HP, owned by Vikerkollen kennel
Leo av Vargevass placed 2. in Open Class Males with 1. prize/CK, owned by Nordviken kennel
Gunnhild av Vargevass placed 3. in Working Class Females with 1.prize/CK., owned by Snowstreams kennel.
In the breed group, our kennel was represented by Robert, Isa, Gunnhild and Leo who are of 4 different litters.
Of 15 breed group entries, our group was among the 4 which got 1. prize and HP (honorary prize).

Our congratulations to Best of Opposite Sex winner Snöheimens Tanja, who turned out to have a fair part of Vargevass heritage in her (Lobo av Vargevass among others as her grand-father. Lobo is the great grandfather of Robert).

Dante: 1.prize/CK and winner of Working Class Males (of 8). Best Male of 26 males. BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX
Our congratulations to his breeder Tom Arne Kristiansen.
Robert got 2nd prize in Open Class. He got disturbed again of the speakers

Isa 1. prize/CK and placed 2. in Working Class Females (of 8), Place 3. in Best Female competition (of 44).
Ulva: 2. prize: limping on her right hindleg

Other noteworthy results:
Gunnhild av Vargevass: Best of Breed and BOB Sled Dog owned by Ylwa Malmberg

In the breed group the dogs earned 1st place with Honorary prize, being: Gunnhild, Ulva, Isa and Robert. Thanks to Ylwa Malmberg for participating and Katerina Palechkova for handling. Thanks to Jachym Lukes for the photos.
